shift the shit to the kish
Friday, October 20, 2006, 12:43 PMIt ought to be not too expensive to convey the treated sewerage from Ringsend via Howth to a deep open-sea area at the Kish lighthouse or beyond. After all, they now bring all the sewerage from Howth under the bay to Ringsend and they could return the treated stuff by a parallel path back across the bay and out to sea.
A large area of the bay, including the Bull walls, which once were ideal for bathing in, are now no longer clean and even Seapoint leaves one feeling sticky although many people swim there regularly. They have closed down the thalassic baths at Clontarf, Blackrock and Dun Laoghaire and that might have been because of the poor quality of the seawater as a result of sewerage discharges into the bay.

Wednesday, August 23, 2006, 10:18 AMWell, the Dun Laoghaire - Rathdown caterpillar has finally finished masterbating on the Booterstown nature reserve but has left two big heaps of shit - Roche's balls - plonk n the middle of the swamp so that we can all like Shelley say:
"My name is Ozymandias ( or Dick Roche0 , king of kings:
Look on my works ye Mighty and despair !"
Nothing besides remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare
The lone and level sands stretch far away.

Caterpillar grubbing away in Booterstown reserve
Tuesday, August 1, 2006, 01:11 PMGod only knows what they are up to now as the caterpillar earth eater digests and regorgiates different parts of the debris every day. First it seemed to be making a very fat penis with a very big knob right down the cunt of the swamp; then it changed it to a double knobbed penis. After that it circumcised the knobs from the penis; then it did the impossible by decircumcising one of the knobs, connecting it to a thin penis. Today it has again circumcised the two knobs in what must have been a very sore operation as there is a very large split between the tip of the penis and the nearest knob.
Dun Laoghaire - Rathdown council must be overjoyed at all the pain they have inflicted on this quiet little beautiful swamp which has remained ia virgin since it was born in 1834.

Caterpillar in its cocoon at Booterstown sanctuary
Wednesday, July 26, 2006, 09:42 AMToday was another nice day for the sea in Dublin and I picked the first few ripe blackberries at Boooterstown; so its going to be work for me from hereonin picking berries after my sea excursion.
The poor old caterpiller eartheater was resting after it rearranging the rubble in the swamp a bit but it had put plyboard armour all around its windows for fear of hostilities. Goodness knows no one could blame the poor caterpillar for the desecration of the sanctuary; it was only following orders given by the Gestapo at Dun Laoghaire - Rathdown council headquarters to burry the place in rubble and make a Ryanair type landing place for the birds. I just hope the birds remember not to carry much luggage and pay all their taxes and fuel surcharges otherwise they will have to land on water like biplanes or seaplanes I think.

Caterpillar eating away at Booterstown bird sanctuary
Tuesday, July 25, 2006, 11:27 AMWhat a wonderful day we had today in Dublin, sunny clear sky but brisk cooling east wind. The east wind in summer is welcome unlike in winter when it makes us cold.
The high tide at noon at Dun Laoghaire beach was beautiful just a little wavey to give one a challenge. What a pity no one except myself takes advantage of the ideal sea conditions here - its like a private bit of the Irish sea for me.
On way home I was pleased to see another lorry being loaded up with the rubble that had been dumped in the bird sanctuary by the Dun Laoghgaire- Rathdown council; from their mad Rock road unmake and remake project. It must be costing them a pretty penny to have the stuff removed. I wonder was it all due to my protesting about it and standing on my head at the reserve in protest. Of course, they might say that they never intended to leave it there, but that is even worse because they have really disturbed the flora and fauna of this marshland by driving trucks and caterpillars in on it and pouring rubble right down the middle on the sea-bed.
Anyway it doesn't seem to matter what I say in this blog because it never seems to come up in Google or any of the search engines and I wonder why not!
